Hi all! We are looking to restore the concrete roof to our small house in Perth and would appreciate any advice or recommendations for good contractors anyone has. I have been reading previous posts, and seems that the common thread is to aviod the big companies, and go with a smaller recommended one. We have had a quote from P&J Coatings which included cleaning, repointing and painting for about $5000 which seemed expensive!! Is this just Perth at the moment?
We used DTS restorations and found them very good.

I have just got my roof redone in colourbond by the Roof and wall Doctor they where great and $4,000 cheeper than DTS i am only saying this because i am pritty sure that they do recoating as well . ph 9430 6553

I assume you mean roof tiles? Are they concrete tiles? or are they clay tiles ? whats wrong with them ? is it just a fad you're going through ? or has some mob told you you need to coat them ?
If they are clay tiles then I would leave them alone.
However if you want to spend money then shop around and get quotes and play them off against each other.
