Does any one know the address to the web-site that gives ball-park figures of materials for building. It does exist - I just deleted my favourites and cant find it. (insert Homer comment)
Thanks in advance

Your probably talking about archicentre?
Another very useful tool I always refer to is the downloadable price list this hardware store puts on their website - gives me a benchmark when I go shopping for stuff.
What about www.buybuildingsupplies.com.au ? Used to be tradeconnect.
<table style="border-style: none; border- 2px; 100%;" border="2" rules="rows"><tbody><tr><td style=" 20%;">92199</td><td style=" 60%;">90mm STORMWATER PIPE 6.0</td><td style=" 5%;">EA</td><td style=" 15%;" align="right">33.12</td></tr></tbody></table>Whoo. Paid $18 yesterday for the same from the local hardware shop. Bunnings brochure which came today has it listed for $19 which is why I'm comparing prices.

Worth a look if you want to pay. I got one included as part of the owner-builders for estimating. The copy I have is the scaled down version for the House Building cost guide.
