Removing Hallway Archways

Would like the straight edge look. ANy advice would be appreciated

need more info. eg:- brick, timber frame with gyprock, lattice timber. What?

Timer framework, with plaster board. I Have used a level to mark it out sq. Am trying to upload pics.
Seems on the entrance archway, someone has already had a go at it, rahther haphazardly.
