Flashing-sealing question

Hi people,
I'm in the process of getting my head around a DIY ducted evaporative cooler install & have a question that I hope the learned people that inhabit these forums can help with. I purchased ducting, vents, tape, dropper box & flashing. My question is - once the upper flashing is in place, what should I use in the cut ribs of the corry roof that overlap the flashing to stop creapy crawlies, water etc from getting into the roof? - Or do I not worry about it. I visited Lisaght's roofing & walling guidlines & it refers to "plugging" the inside of ribs of cut roof cladding??

You can get corrugated foam rubber. Alternately you can snip a bit up along the top of the corrugation. Fold the top down by overlapping adjacent sides, and using silicone, pop rivet them together. The edge of the corro should be straight then, and you can silicone and pop rivet it down to the flashing.
