If you zoom in on the screen on the camera, the bloke is actually taking a pic of the red head sitting to the (their) left of them. :D

Really a bit pointless taking a photo like that nobody would know who's who when you show it to some one.
Reminds me of a female friend's 21st party. It was held in a local Persian Restarunt (run by Iranian Armenians) and it was a 'costume' party. One of the girls dressed up in the full black tent outfit, and a waiter , recently arrived from the 'old country' burst forth with 'Oh, you make me so homesick, you look just like my wife' - he then produced a wallet photo of the 'Missus' - yep, full blackout with two eyes looking out the slit.
The party was a blast.
