"here in the west"

Well, channel 10 have finally done it!! No not that pile of rubbish called big brother. They decide to show the Freo/Sydney AFL clash "unlive". If this is the way to treat fans, no wonder the commercial channels are struggling. I'm not just taking aim at ch 10, ch 9 has got a lot to answer for as well - tennis starts late at night, way after live start time. The US golf open, I heard about the winner on the 6am ABC news so didn't waste 3 hours of my life watching the idiot box. It seems that here in the west we are just treated with contempt by the commercial TV nobs. I could go on but just typing this is wasting woodwork time!

PS, I don't wate my life just watching on the tele, I play golf and go to the local WAFL games (go Bulldogs). Also, This doesn't apply to Aunty and SBS.

Its the same everywhere, so dont fret.
The tv mobs think we are all chickens and will take what ever they feed us.

I dont watch much tv so it doesnt bother me, the only time I watch it is when Im in bed, and that aint for long.....Zzzzzzzzzzzz

Anyway, go get yourself a big dish (C Band) and watch all those free to air soccer channels and French channels (I don't because I can't speak French and wouldn't understand the plot).

Mike they are a joke and i wish they had lost the rigths. Over here in Vic, ch10 showed Freo v Swans live and didnt bother with Carlton v Lions and Carlton is a Vic team and the other were both interstate:confused:

And yep, go Bulldogs (my second team) Only % is keeping us of the top of the ladder. Another flag should be in the bag:D

Blackie, have a look at the WAFL ladder and the AFL ladder and tell me wich Bulldogs are second on %. And East Freo arnt guppies, more like yuppies:rolleyes: :D

Nothing better than watching South Freo have a win in the local darby then wanderin over to the Sail n Anchor for a skinfull:D

east freo have had their fins cut of for shark fin soup and now there floating around belly up.:D (went to the game on sat and they cant even beat stupidaco ):(

my son goes for the doggies both over here and the western doggies and he doesnt let us forget it either.:(
he went to school in his western doggies jumper on monday and the headmaster wanted to expel him for wearing it as he is a wce fan and doesnt like anybody ragging them. :eek: (typical eagle supporter):D
