Hey guys.
l'm changing tanks which means all the downpipes from house roof will have to run over to the new tank . There's 3 downpipes which l guess would all have to feed into the one pipe running across to the new tank .
ls the one pipe over to the new tank [ 100 ml ] enough to carry all the water from the 3 house downpipes ? House roof is 20 sq' .
l'm at Port Campbell Vic and it can really pelt down at times .

I have a 33 Square house roof plus a 6m x 7.2m garage roof running into two 90mm pipes and it copes pretty well in a torrential downpour.
You could also either run two 90mm stormwater pipes side by side to the tank or run your 100mm pipes into a 150mm stormwater pipe to the tank if you were concerned.

Sounds like one pipe across would be plenty with only 1/2 your total roof area . My place has 2 big tanks and after thought pipes and bits and pieces going 'everywhere' it's a night mare . 60 % of it all either did nothing or didn't work so l'm trying to minumise the lot back to the needed basics only .

2 things come to mind
The local council should be able to help with sensible numbers for downpipe per area catchment
2 if you have more than 1 downpipe into a tak tou will need the same area pipe to overflow that tank
Look at a tank manufacturer website for more info, ( Bushmaster, They wont warrant the tank if you dont do this
