Lead flashing is still used on tile roofs so I cannot see where there would be any regs to stop this, but why lead ?, why not just get a bit of colorbond or even zincaneel or zincalume and paint it.Quote:

Thanks. yes I know it’s still used for roofing, that’s why I have spare lead that I can use. I roof is a bit less accessible to hands, although I don’t understand how lead can be used on roofs attached to rain water tanks by the by. So it’s just that I have it in hand and I would paint it to be safe but you never know what the regulators have decided.Quote:
