So here am I, the day before the eve of the twelth day before Christmas, thinking it's time to dust off the old Christmas Avatar, and a nice cheery "Good Will Toward Men" message, when I get this message:
"You may not upload animated images"
But I can use the standard one of Bart Showing his bum!!!!
Can anyone explain, or is this just a setting that hasn't been changed yet?

Thats because you are a newbie, once you have been here for a while and shown your worth to the forum, all sorts of features will be at your fingertips.

I think the real problem is that Midge wants to have an animated avatar that tops Dougs one and he just can't find one that'll pass the censors. :D :D :D
I've heard that there's a secret place where you can say Bum though.
Perhaps after I've got a few more thousand posts up, I could go there and say Bum without getting into trouble???
or maybe I could get a wiggling Bum Avatar.
Maybe that's why they stopped me!!
