Hello from Campbelltown, NSW (SW Sydney)!
Hello,
Totally new to the forum, was only aware of its existence a few weeks ago.
A little about me - I've been mostly watching youtube videos, reading books, etc. about woodworking. A few years ago I made a bookshelf (out of MDF, with a circular saw), but nothing of consequence since I actually bought more tools, mostly because I think the Triton table saw I have ended up being a bit of a dud - a bit of it is bent so I can't get it aligned for a 90 degree cut.
I have a couple of projects to start off with - one is to fix a broken chopping board that my wife made 20 years ago that snapped into two - I need a nice clean cut for this! And the next is a small coffee table thing. Maybe some more chopping boards would be handy too. Later on, moving to some bigger furniture items, which might include better fitted loft beds for the kids.
Like many people, I'm wishing my shed was bigger than it is :) I really really want a cabinet style table saw, but there's no way I could really fit one in the shed and do anything else!
Cheers,
Sid
