Marching Fern

With Armistice/Remembrance Day nearly upon us, I just wanted to share the memorial design that appears on my local RSA's polo shirts.

Designed by local Wellingtonian Chris Hay, it depicts a file of WW! soldiers moving up to the front.
For our overseas members, the fern is an iconic NZ emblem rather as the maple leaf is to Canada.

What a brilliant design. It took me a moment to realise it was men as the leaves.
