Timber identification needed please?

Hi there, I find old things on the side of the road and try and breathe some life into them before the garbo gets there.This one was on the roadside for at least 2 weeks in all weather ! I grabbed the drawer base , :- I couldn't carry the top mirrored cupboard section home unfortunately, and I've stripped , shellac and waxed it . I don't know the timber?? Any ideas? Its heavy and is quite nice! (I have put a thick ply lid on and am decorating it.)
