Hi from Melbourne!
G'day all,
My skills with wood working are basic. I'm interested in eventually acquiring some more advanced woodworking equipment down the track (when I finally have the room), but in the mean time I've been transforming my van into a camper.
So I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction for some information on a bench top that I epoxied, two days ago (featured below).
It has been coated twice with "bote-cote" (it's what I had already), it has a sort've grippy feel to it when i run my hand over it, also my hand will be slightly sticky.
So I want to finish it up with some sanding to get a smooth touch feel but also keep the high gloss look.

Thanks, Alex

Welcome to the forum!
I'm a novice too, and have been starting to play with epoxy recently, I found that the cold Melbourne weather meant a long cure time use my West System epoxy. This could be a similar problem, but there are plenty of people on here with more experience than me that should be able to offer better advice.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Alex".
There are a stack members across the Melbourne area, quite a few in country Victoria plus lots more across the rest of the country & the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.

Welcome to the forum.
A lot of finishes take time to cure. Longer in cold weather, and if it is cold it can effect the finish. I no little about what you have used, but can you tell us how it has been applied.
