As a great enginear/engeneir/enginere I think it's time you
made a bolt for the door ... get out while you can.

My son has on his office door:
You don't have to be a good speller
To be an Enganear/Engunere/Enjunear
Senior Technical Officer.
Before I went to school I couldn't spell engineer but now I is one.
I couldn't spell idiotor now I duz the jab.
Son was helping me and saying what we were doing was not rocket science.
But he has a degree in Aero Space Engineering.
PS He lets me do the work with the power tools.
And it's MATHS, not math. :doh::rolleyes:
Not necessarily. Uk english favours maths, but US english favours math. Most linguist appear to agree that both are correct, some would further suggest that mathmatics can be used as a both a singular or plural noun in the collective form and that either is therefore correct in Uk or US english.
UK= English.
US= ?
What on earth ever gave America the right to mess with English?
Rubbish, absolute rubbish :oo:. Look out the window, this is not the US :((. Abhor all creeping Americanisms, it's MATHS :ausflag:
It was HARD when I went to skool, still can't understand algae bra, friginometry, or any other maffs.
