There has been a notice in the market place for some weeks advising of a shut down for upgrade, most likely this is the cause
Not sure what links you are referring to. Can you please include a link in this post.

Hi guys, the issue with the links was resolved yesterday afternoon. Links in emails sent from about 3pm onwards will be oK.
