Facebook page???
Hello, please move this if it's in the wrong spot? I was just looking on facebook to see if there is a Woodwork forum page? I have "liked" lots of other web sites Facebook pages and that keeps me up to date with their sites and often reminds me to check out their web pages too. Cheers, Ash.

HAHA I take it that's a no then! all good, was just wondering. There are some excellent Facebook woodworking groups. Thousands of pictures, projects, reviews, tool giveaways and web page promoting. Don't get me wrong I really enjoy this website and I'll continue to visit it most days. Facebook has something like 1.4 billion users now, its a pretty big market to tap into!

Just use “new posts” asheddie. They are the “updates”.
Unlike websites that are only edittable by a handful people (or even just one), info on WWF is a joint effort by thousands of us. I seriously doubt you could wade though that many Facebook updates and no way mods could decide what to prioritise. Their role is to moderate content not rate its interest.
Forums are a form of social media, oriented by topic rather than chronology alone.

Good point, most of the facebook pages link to web sites, not forums. thanks for pointing that out as it is quite a difference. Don't get me wrong, I've always had the best advice here on the Woodwork Forum and its on the top of my favorites list.

Hi,
I think but I have not tried it, if you subscribe to a post you can set it up to get email alerts.
