Hi All,
I have spent the last 6 months reading and listening to everything about woodworking. I have minimal tools & time but a lot of respect for the art. I hope to learn a heap and speak to like minded people via this website. Merry Xmas and may you all have a happy new year. If you are from Alice Springs or the NT, I would like to pick your brain about working with local timbers.

I'm not too sure how many members are in and around the Alice but a heap in Adelaide & across Sth Aust....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [work in progress] photos with build notes.

PS - Watch out for clearance sales, decreased estates and the old garage sale for increasing your tool collection..... maybe old but most made to last.
