G'day
Hello everyone,
Thought I'll introduce myself. I'm Bailey from Brisbane. Just started woodworking (my old man is a builder/chippie, so I'm around woodwork/construction all my life). Just finished building a deck 1 year ago and is moving onto another one. However, decks/house renos are quite different (IMHO) to serious woodworking. I'm in the middle of the process of building a workbench, slowly collecting tools etc to move onto woodworking. I'm very much a beginner so looking forward to hearing advices and ideas from you lot.
Cheers,
Bailey.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Bailey".
There are quite a few members in and around Brisbane & S.E. Queensland.
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork..
Cheers crowie
PS - Keep in your dad's good books for timber offcuts & extras as a free source plus the tools you're saving up for.....
Also keep an eye out for garage sales, clearance sales, deceased estates and the like for good quality older tools......
