Trouble with the missus

I'm having one of those moments... Found a perfect DIY project. Little QLDer in a great suburb with expensive houses all around, good school zone, close to transport etc...
Structurally in great shape. Everything is original.

We would easily made some money on it if we raise the house, build underneath and new kitchen, bathrooms etc.. Financially it makes perfect sense.

However the missus thinks its too much work. For god sake, I'm the one doing it, all she has to do is live with it for 6 months or so. I can't convince her. Its such a mission.
How can some woman be so stubborn?

Anyone else have similar issues?
