Hard Shellac technique questions for guitars

After doing the hands on demonstration of U-Beaut products at the Melbourne T&WWW show, I decided to try Hard Shellac for my next guitars. I used Rustin's plastic coating for my last instruments, and it looks like I can get a similar result using the Hard Shellac. Problem is, after buying all the materials and Gramercy European Ox hair brushes, I realized that I didn't write down the procedure that Neil explained, and I have another couple of questions as well. Hopefully Neil will read this and comment.

Firstly, the technique. As I remember it, after sanding to high grit (1500?) , wipe on sanding sealer and then sand that with fine sandpaper. Then brush on hard shellac diluted to 1/4 strength with IMS, allow to dry (touch dry), then a coat of hard shellac diluted to 1/2 strength, allow to dry and then final coat with full strength Hard Shellac. Optionally polish with EEE Ultrashine. Is that right?

Now for the other questions. This technique was described for flat surfaces. Would it be the same for a complex curved shape like a guitar? Would I need to keep the surface horizontal before doing the other side? Or will it be dry enough to turn over quite quickly.

If there are brush marks, should they be sanded between coats?

If I want to get a higher shine with EEE Ultrashine, can I do it as soon as the last coat has set, or do I need to wait the 20 days for the cross-linking to complete?
