fly wire replacment in screen

Hi All,

seriously need some advice on how to replace the fly wire in aluminum window screens!! Ive got a roller, have the new rubber to press the wire in to place, and only 1 pair of hands.

The roller that presses the rubber tubing in seems to cut the wire :( and the wire does not stay straight as i put the tubing in place.

so i have the basic tools, and have done a few searches to learn the process, but need some tips and tricks from those with practical experience....its driving me crazy.

how to put wire in that stays straight and does not get damaged ???
