G'day from Toowoomba
G'day all.
I've used this forum a number of times for reference over a number of years, and now that I have some time away from work and a new shed, have decided to become a member.
Most of the time when I have been seeking for information is in relation to my hobby; restoration of vintage audio pieces.
I have restored many dozens of audio speakers, the oldest dating back to 1928 and predominantly speakers from the 60s and 70s. These have included pieces from Germany, Switzerland, America, England, Italy, Australia, etc and my part is usually based around refinishing the cabinets.
In any case, prepare for a number of upcoming questions!

G'day B.B. and welcome to this amazing forum.:) I won't be much help as I'm more a part of the "question" department than the "answer" department, but looking forward to seeing some of your restorations.
Regards, Peter

G'Day & welcome to a top forum Bob.
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgable blokes & ladies on the forum all willing to asssist.
Make sure you should off your handiwork as everyone loves photos, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Keep warm up on that hill.
Enjoy the forum.
Cheers, crowie

Welcome to the forum. Do you have any photos of the items that you had restored, that you may wish to share?
