We have a rental property with polished pine floorboards that need a bit of TLC. The finish is ok but needs a going over with a wax or something else easy to apply and not long drying. Any ideas? Not keen about sanding (whole house!!!)
TIA

Hi Andrew and welcome to the forum! If you really feel you wanna polish someone else's floor, the way to do it would be to sand and refinish it using laquer. A light sand is all thats needed -just to get a "key" surface...... you'd need to remove any flakey stuff too of course.
But I still can't get the question out of my head - why do it for someone else's place? It isnt a small job.... in fact I would ask the owner and A. Get permission and B. seek compensation for enhancing their place ..... after all, it may result in a rent rise.
