One thing is for certain - it won't last. It is not funny, it is not comedy. It is crass and was given short shrift here.
I saw about 30 seconds of it while changing channels, if the rest was as bad as that it will be gone real soon.
It seems it lost half its audience in an hour.

I have not seen the show you mention but he's a funny guy and a really good author too. I read Blind Faith some time ago and really weird and interesting read.
I think you guys are showing your age again.

They should have put it on channel 10! I am interested to go and find it on Internet now to see what you guys are talking about - the preview was pretty funny.

it looks like not even the younger generation were interested. I am a huge ben Elton fan and I think I don't want to watch it after the reviews I have read!

Never been a fan of him personally, nor a lot of comedians that are around at the moment, one that comes to mind is Adam Hill who has his own show on Ch 2. Hopefully he gets booted and something worthwhile get put on in place of... but I'm an old fart. :U
