Following on from Wheelin's joke about tax the other day
(which did not go down too well) here is another one.
My wife went into the shop the other day and purchased
a few metres of curtain material.
The cashier said, "That will be $30.00 plus tax".
My wife replied, "Don't worry about the tacks, I am using
some curtain rod".

I got a foul look at the hardware store the other day.
I was after some nails for the nailgun to put up a section of fence and the salesman said "how long do you want them".
I of course said Ï want to keep them.
He really didn't see the funny side of it.. :doh:
speaking of foul looks in hardware stores.
asked for some threaded rod.
Assistant replied "half inch".
I said " No, I'll pay for it".
