40 divides by 20, 10, 8 and 5 and 4 and 2, which I'm afraid Mr. Wongo, doesn't make it perfect, so I'm not sure where that leaves you.
Perhaps with 20 chairs, 10 coffee tables, 8 sideboards, 5 cabinets, 4 dining tables and 2 rocking chairs?
