weatherboard home anyone used an alternative cladding for their extension

Hi

We are extending (groundfloor) our weatherboard house but it doesn't have the standard weatherboards used on most houses so we either need to get the profile matched or use an alternative cladding (not a different style of weatherboard).

I am having a hard time visualising what it would look like.

Has anyone done this? Would love to see pics
