Ray's night out

Ray was on his way home in the early hours of the morning after being at the local water hole since 6pm the previous evening. He was just about home when he was stopped by a police patrol officer who asked him" where are you going at this time of the morning"
Ray slurred "I am going to a lecture ossifer" "A likely story" said the policeman, sarcastically, "and who may I ask is giving a lecture at this time of the morning"? Ray replied..
