should I use WR Plasterboard on bathroom ceiling?

I went to the local plasterboard shop to buy the plasterboard to finish off the bathroom and they said I only need the WR Plasterboard for the walls and that normal plasterboard is fine for the ceiling and I woudl be wasting my money.

Is this the norm? Wont the steam from the shower affect the roof sheets?
