Hi,

I'm new to the forum and refinishing, so thanks in advance. I recently bought a teak danish modern table. The previous owner had done a very bad job of applying a sealer to the table top. I stripped, prepped and applied several coats of teak oil. It looks beautiful but, as I've just learned, Teak oil doesn't leave any kind of sheen. The rest of the table has a low sheen, and took a few coats of the teak oil beautifully. Also, you can see and feel the grain before and after the oil is applied. What can I now apply to the top that will give me a low sheen to closer match the leaves and the rest of the table?

Thanks

:aro-u::):aro-u: What he said. I'm with Splinter, wax over the top of the teak oil is probably the way to go.

Cheers

Bryan

Oh, does our sponsor make that? Hmmm who would have thought...
