I've been floating about the forums for a while tons of helpful info to be seen that's for sure! Thought I should go ahead and say a quick hello.
I'm 17 yo and a 2nd year apprentice at a joinery workshop near Devonport, Tasmania.
Took all the woodworking classes I possibly could through high school which gave me a great head start to my career as well as making a few projects to be proud of.

My most recent projects to be made were a dvd/cd cabinet made out of blackheart sassafras and at Tafe I'm making a tassy oak dining table with 4 chairs.
Will try to get some pics up bit later.

Next big project Mum wants a Blackheart bed! :oo:
Now just have to hunt down a nice bit of sassy while she continues with her designing.

Thats my plan but im going nowhere finding someone to supply Blackheart in Sydney. Im gonna do the legs in Blackwood.

Let me know if anyone there will supply and freight it to Sydney.
