Finish For Outdoor Jarrah Setting

I have an outdoor Jarrah setting (Clarecraft) which has been badly spotted in a severe hail storm. As well, I've been quite remiss in looking after it and, overall, it's pretty shabby.
Short of pulling the whole thing apart and sanding etc. I'm looking for suggestions for an oil finish (I'm thinking tung oil) which will put a bit of life into it.
When new I used the oil recommended by Clarecraft (their own brand of Jarrah oil) which was brilliant but very expensive and increasingly hard to come by in Sydney. The setting is covered under a patio roof but open to weather on 3 sides.
Any suggestions most welcome. :confused:

Gday mate, just pick an outdoor furniture oil or decking oil by a reputable manufacturer. Most hardware stores carry Cabots which has a few types.

Some of the oils contain pigments to stain the timber as well as block UV rays I think, to slow down the deterioration of the timber.

If your setting has gone pretty grey, could be a good idea to wash/scrub it with an oxalic acid solution. Once again you can get this in the paint section of a hardware store. Even if you don't do this step the oil will make a HUGE difference. I have seen a jarrah deck which went down about 8 years ago but is oiled about every 6 months - it looks like it was laid ( :eek: ) last week, it has preserved it that well.
