Hi All

I am new here and to woodwork although I have done a bit of scroll saw work with folk art but nothing major.

Looking to create some furniture for my home but dont want to use the usual mdf and ply that hubby would use so am researching first! [He is a stainless welder and for some reason thinks that wood has the same properties?????:-]

I want to build an entertainment unit, beds for my kids, side cupboard and whatever else takes my fancy lol

Any tips or input is gratefully received
