I was going to post this in homemade tools and jigs, but thought it may not necessarily be appropriate.

I might make for the shed - it gets a bit cold these days in Melbourne plus it could clean up the shavings on the floor.

While we have a manly, knuckle draging thread open, I thought I'd add a few complementory links (hope you don't mind Clint).
This one is the Fastest Rocket Sled, and it does the 3 mile drag (none of this weedy quater mile) in 6.04 seconds.

This is the worlds largest gun. It's, um, big

Enjoy. :D

Well it seems like a lotta work when you consider an aerosol can will throw a 4 or 5 ft flame if you light it with a cigarette lighter.

My son 19, got caugth out last year with an orange gun, everthing was fine until they shot out someone window with an orange. :(
But his mate and he fessed up and paid for the damage, so no more was heard of it. :)

I must admit both of the activities I mentioned are pretty dangerous, and not something I really encourage.
Sounds like you've done well with your son, to have him fess up like that. :)

Also, just because you dont want to talk about it, doesnt meen it doesnt happen in the world. :(
If you do a search you will find all kinds of recipes for stuff that your not supposed to do.
But thats life. :D

Al,
OK, clarification to my point of view. I am a big proponent of free speech and discussion, so:
1. No problem in discussing the issue;
2. No problem with people wanting to discuss it
3. My view is that it's not a joke
4. Again, my view is that it should be in a forum where people with like minded views are going to go.
I'm just struggling with the fact that it's not a joke and it's got nothing to do with woodworking. It delivers neither insight into any woodworking activity nor humour so it is completely irrelavant to the forum.
Anyway, happy woodworking and joking. :)
Regards,
Mike.

Tell him this, "When a man with an orange gun meets a man with a beer can cannon, the man with the orange gun is a dead man." With apologies to Clint Eastwood. :D

I knew I should have posted it in homemade tools and jigs.
but it made me laugh so I posted it here. If you read alot of the posts in woodies jokes you will notice that alot of them dont have a woodworking bias either.
