Have an Emailair 8.8 KW split system (Model WS 088H) installed in January 1999.
The drum fan on the indoor unit has sheared off at the electric drive motor end making the unit inoperable
Nothing else wrong with the unit. Was heating and cooling very efficiently before this happened.
Have had two air conditioning firms look at it and tell me that parts are no longer available. Only option according to both is spend upwards of $3500 on a new inverter system!
I understand all the benefits of the newer units re efficiency and less cost to run but I would prefer to repair the unit I have,
Does anyone know of anywhere I might pick up a fan for one of these units??
Any help would be appreciated.
