renovating an old timber cabinet with lovely curved glass top doors. cabinet was a bit woobly so reinforced where needed, now just need to sand back slightly to remove old sealer, not sure which sealer to use !
if using polyurethane sealer,
water based or oil ?
price difference between brands did seem to vary; ie; feast watson for 1lt was $32,
wattle brand of similar properties was $22, just wondering is it a case of you get what you pay for, and the dearer product would be reflected in quality of it,
or am i being asked to pay for the Name, so to speak ?????
any advice will be greatly appreciated as i am newbee in this area, not really doing any woodwork since high school, a long long time ago !!
