can i charge a dry battery with a wet battery charger?

iv got a 6 volt dry battery in a big torch.

and i have a 6 volt wet battery charger.

will it damage teh battery if i charge it?

Weisyboy,
You cannot recharge dry cells..period.
I'd be real careful about hooking it up to a you wet cell (lead acid?) as I've seen them (the dry cells) explode.

:doh: No! (It prolly says somewhere on the battery that you can't, too. )
