Hello all,

Glad to have found the site. Quite a lot of good information. Hope to contribute as time goes by. I enjoy all types of woodworking and have gotten back into the Japanese tools.

Regards,

Lee

G'day Lee, I was in Austin in May '99 loved the place. Is E 6th. Street still the music capital of the world?

Cheers

Hi Lee...welcome to the club.:U

There's a guy not to far from you in Bastrop that does large turnings with equipment he built himself...his name is James Johnson. Nice guy, you might want to get in touch with him.

Ed,

Thanks. I wouldn't be surprised if he and I have run into one another in our local Woodcraft. It is the closest actual woodworking store for everyone in about a 40 mile radius of Austin.
