Finnishing advise

I am building a bassenet out of oak and had considered finnishing it with Gum Turpentine, beeswax & linseed oil as described in the Australian Woodsmith issue 67.
Any advise??

all kids stuff these days need to be finished according to strict regulations, you have to talk to the wigs on this one mate.

Hi Mike,

Take at look at shellac. You might like it better than turpentine and linseed oil for your bassinet.
