I have a presentation next week and want to use part of a monty python sketch.
In the sketch there is a meeting going on and all the people aren't talking sense, just jibberish.
Does anyone know where its from. I have been trying to listen to Life of Brian and Search for the Holy Grain in the background, but spent more time watching the movies than preparing the presentation.
TIA woodcutta

Sounds like a John Cleese training tape.

I think it's a John Cleese training video called "Meetings, Bloody Meetings".

I had an old Monty Python recording once, (maybe their first) where the gathered crowd were talking in garbled gibberish. I was certain that apart from several people repeating the word rhubarb over and over, two men were actually saying something. This was in the early days of stereo, and so being determined, I fitted some earphones on and listened carefully.
First man said something like, "Did you see the news"? "Nixon (president of USA then) has had an A#@$hole (A#@$hole) transplant"
Second man said "Did you see the the Stop Press"? "The A#@$hole (A#@$hole) rejected him".
I've always thought that was hilariously funny. :D

Yes, I think the Drury Lane recording . . that could be it.
It was the first recording I heard with a female using that "Magic Word". :-

It may be "Monty Python's Flying Circus" (1969). they speak gibberish that sounds like german.

I've been trying to remember more and came up with . . . . "they've invested in a lot of deisel powered nuns". :(
This thread may drive me to connecting up the record player to my computer and finally digitising my record collection. :U
