There is nothing in the VB software that allows us to search for members by their location, so the only way to find out is to go through the Members Profiles one by one and there is no way that'll be me

Um, maybe it might be to do with the fact that there is 35609 users listed as of this moment.

You're welcome to go through the Members List (http://www.woodworkforums.com/memberlist.php) if you like, mind you this list only shows members that have made a post or been activate within a certain time frame so you will miss a few.

Even that will miss a lot, because exact "Location" isn't mandatory. You'd need to infer that Adelaide is in SA, for example. "Location: In front of my computer," and similar, doesn't say much either.

Only one from South Carolina, is one too many. JUST KIDDING!:D:D

Why do it as a poll? At least that way you will capture most of the active members.

I've lived in West Australia for the last 20 years. Previously 19 years in the Northern Territory. And was born and bread in the convict free state of South Australia for 21 years.:2tsup:

Now that you have achieved the hard bit of the research, and sniffed
all that glue as it dried, could you tell us the average age of all contributors,
how many barrack for Carlton Football Club and how many have passed
a chisel sharpening course since January 1st 2009.:D

Perhaps holding my breath until it dries.

I took some photos instead of numb crunching, maybe that will help the glue dry:roll:
