Hi Daniel,

The very best advice I can give you is to find the nearest woodworker club and Join it.:wink: There are bound to be lots of turners and lathes there, and they just love to help out with advice and skills.
I started out on my own, and although I did OK for a novice, my skills didn't really get better until I joined a club.:2tsup: And they also do scroll sawing, carving, futrniture making , general wood working skills, and lots more, and its fun...
