G'day - from The Basin, Victoria.

Been woodworking for nearly 20 years, and a member of the Knox and District Woodworkers in Ferntree Gully. Enjoy furniture building: Bars, coffee tables, Stereo cabinets, mantle pieces..... as long as they are big, heavy, and made from redgum or jarrah - that sort of thing.

Spend a big part of my time re-organising the shed to get access to the wood tools! Finally got it all sorted and the caravan moved out back, and the shed is ready for another project. See movie at: http://www.alchester.com.au/download/woodworking_gear.mov

Interested in outback travel - particularly to places that are related to forestry, wood mills, historical interests and so forth, so spend a lot of time caravanning

Welcome Gaz,

Plenty of good friends and good advice available on
the many forums.

Being from "The Basin" you should not have any problems
woodturning some bowls.:D

Owned a business in the Basin (opposite the fire station) back in the very early 70. Used love it when the siren went off, because it was almost inevitably lead to a bit of push n shove over who was going to drive the truck.

Welcome Gaz...... Enjoy.

Cheers - Neil :U
