Wanted to share a couple of my favorite utube videos.
One is fantastic footage of a rescue/tug ship heading out through huge seas....

OK, here's another, this time without the bad language:rolleyes: it's a container ship flexing in heavy weather. At 13sec and 1:03sec they film inside a long coridor and you can see the ship bending as it goes through the waves!

They're designed to do that. If they weren't, they'd break in half, or worse. Ditto concrete ships - really.

Those are the BEST places to put lighthouses. Otherwise, why have lighthouses at all? Let ships crash on the rocks instead?:oo:
