Hi,
I am an expectant first time father, and SWMBO would like me to make our own cot rather than borrowing one from other people in the family.

I haven't decided on the wood yet, but I was wondering if anyone knew if using estapol is a safe option with babys???

Any help is appreciated...

Thanks
Greg.

I'd stick with stewed prunes. Estapol keeps them awake at night. ;)

Greg,

You really shouldn't use Estapol on your baby. I found with my two that I got a much better finish using Johnson's Baby Oil.

Sorry :o

Greg,

Here's a couple of threads on this forum:

You might also contact Wattyl and check with them on Estapol specifically....

Thanks Silent C,

but I had already seen those threads, and I already have heaps of estapoll at home and if it is safe, I would be happy to use that as it is fairly durable.

Don't listen to these others.
Estapol is great for babies, a bit of spray and wipe and the little buggers shine like a new pin. :D

Non stick too, which makes the bum clean up a breeze.
