Hello there, a long time watcher and reader.
I am about to retire a Triton WC after using it for more than 20 years, so the threads on table saws are very useful. Good to see that there is a divergence of views around!
I leaning towards a Hafco SB10H and will probably hedge my bits with both a sled (which I have finished only 2 months ago for the Triton!) and a quality mitre gauge.
cheers
John.

Ah, the good old Triton WC. Made lots of sawdust on one of those. Welcome to the madhouse.

John,
Cairns Hardware/Tablelands Hardware were selling Carbatec machines for the catalogue price, inclusive of freight. Since the new owners have taken over this has changed and the charge some freight, but a lot less than carbatec would. It might be an idea to see how much the Carbatec equivalent of your planned saw costs through the hardware store as opposed to buying direct from Hafco or Carbatec.

Tolga, you are a lucky man, it is a great spot.
I would love to but the Tolga woodworks if the owners ever decide to sell!
