Hi,
Does anyone here have any (inside) knowledge on the construction of the item? The reason I ask is that the "indefinite" closure has been blamed on parts of the wheel starting to buckle and crack due to the heatwave :oo:. Have inferior materials been used? Poor workmanship? etc. I cannot believe in this day & age that this would contribute to the problems:(.
The huge structure was manufactured in Melbourne, the columns were manufactured in Tasmania whilst the cabins, hubs & spindle were manufactured in Japan.
Cheers
