Hi There,

I am currently a Queenslander after living in NSW for the first 35 years of life.

I am a Cabinet Maker by Trade & i prefer to make furniture rather than kitchens.

I do a bit of work from home so i am lucky enough to have my own work shed with some good gear inside.:)

My other interests would be Boating, going to the Beach & spending time with my family.

I am grateful to have found this forum as it seems to be very informative & full of people with the same interests.

Looking forward to 'Chatting' with you all,

Cheers,
Dave

Hello Dave
We have a chest made by Griffith tablecraft which we purchased twenty years ago.
Sadly the timbers are weeping and the lid and sides of chest are always sticky:C

We did contact Griffith tablecraft about this but they didn't seem interested in the problem:~

We are still trying to contact them for help but can't get their website up.
We found you on this forum by typing in Griffith tablecraft and we are hoping you can give us some advice on how to fix it.
The chest is made of rosewood/ or red river gum...

We also purchased a two seater leather sofa and the timbers on it are fine...no problems at all.
Hope you don't mind us contacting you.
We are sure you had some good years at Condong it is a lovely part of NSW.

My email address is; [email protected]
Many thanks Dave
Regards Christine
