Just came onboard after lurking for a few days. What an excellent forum! My main interest is boatbuilding, but I do a bit of furniture work too, so I'm hoping to learn a lot by being on here.

My user name comes from the bridge over the river Isla which runs near my house in North-East Scotland.

Wooden boat building is carried on in Tasmania y some great craftsmen so you should fit right in.
