12-(31-(89-6)
79-(20-6)
86-7+(31-47)
(76+53)-14
26-(63-92)

31-(33-16)
50-((51+1)-107)
(83+19)-97
36-(44-92)
37-(97-19)
(67+16)-108
(74+98)-(6+9)
66-((70+53)-83)

I started it, but got sidetracked.

Meanwhile, you are missing a bracket on line 2.

Another: What a well known detective often said to his associate is a vague reference

I keep coming up with 42.

I guess it really IS the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything! :D

Prozac's comment is correct, apply that to the code, periodically.

42 may be the answer to the hitchhiker's question, but not this one:-

Well done elmoticus :2tsup:

The numbers are from the Standard Periodic Table and relate to the symbols/letters for the elements.

e.g. (76+89)-(20+8) = (Os+Ac)-(Ca+O) = OsAc-CaO = s

:U My goodness, outbackrr...you are quite subtle and obtuse...remind me no to leave any coded messages around where you are :D
